Easy Garlic Green Beans with Lime Recipe
Do you need a new idea to add to your dinner tonight? How about my easy garlic green beans recipe? You’re going to love this quick side dish.
My family has enjoyed this recipe for so many occasions and holidays I cannot even count them! My easy garlic green beans with lime recipe have been a staple for holiday after holiday.
One thing I love about this tasty recipe is that it’s so easy to transport when you’re asked to bring a dish to your friends or family’s home.
I’m only telling you this because once your family tastes it, they are going to want you to make it for them and deliver it!
Should you steam green beans before sauteing?
Well, this is one of those answers that is yes, and no!
While you don’t need to steam green beans before sauteing, this recipe calls for a quick blanch which leaves the beans crisp yet tender!
How about this? This recipe even with a 3-minute blanch takes 15 minutes of prep time and about 6 minutes to cook!
It’s hard not to love it and you haven’t even tasted it yet!
What you will need to make easy garlic green beans
Before I do any cooking, I gather all the ingredients together!
I’ve said this before over and over. I’ve learned the hard way when I’ve got half the recipe done before I realize I’m out of one or two of the ingredients. Pull all the ingredients out before you begin to avoid this common mistake.
Next, I measure out everything and put it in glass bowls like these! This may be my favorite part!
Getting everything together before I start allows me to enjoy cooking without any distractions! Everything is right there and ready to make my easy garlic green beans with lime!
