    • Continuing, once the pot of water is at a rolling boil, place leaves in the pot, and blanch them for about three minutes.
    • Remove leaves from water and strain.
    • Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet. Add garlic crushed.
    • Once strained, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the Brussels sprout leaves to the hot oil, tossing continually until golden brown.
    • Add garlic powder, a bit of garlic garlic salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (optional).
    • Serve warm.
