And while a slice of warm, freshly baked pumpkin bread is delightful on its own, there's a way to elevate this seasonal classic to new heights. Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Confectionery powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

Instructions
 

  • Mix: Beat the vanilla extract. Using your measuring cup add one cup of milk and blend together.
  • Sweeten: Gradually add powdered sugar while continuing to mix until you achieve the desired sweetness and texture.
  • Flavor: Add the pumpkin pie spice or spices (like cinnamon or nutmeg) for a warm, autumn touch and the perfect pumpkin spice flavor.
  • Blend: Blend in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. 
  • Adjust: Taste and adjust the sweetness or spiciness to your preference.
  • Optional: Adding a nutty crunch with chopped walnuts, or pecans.
  • Ice: Once your pumpkin bread has cooled on a wire rack, spread or pipe the icing on top.
